Ray Dwyer, C.P.F., will turn 65 on his
next birthday which will also mark his 22nd year in the framing industry.
He's had a unique and successful career as a shop/gallery owner, competitor,
consultant, and instructor. He's now choosing to retire and move on to his
last major lifetime project. That is the completion of a self-sufficient solar
home located in the remote backwoods of northern Idaho. He's doing all the
work himself. This is an updated repeat of what he did in the 60's
when he moved his young family to a small lake in the woods west of Whitefish,
Montana. He'll be the first to admit that he's the only one not smart
enough to realize he's now 40 years older.
So here's the offer, first-come-first-serve.
You come for a week's training ($2500 for one or $3400 for
partners.) After that first week, your option is an additional two more
weeks training. Then, after you finish your classes, for a very reasonable
price, you pack up all West Art's equipment, tables, toys
and a lot of artwork, take it home, and use it to start your own business.
There are no "Blue Sky" or "Established Business" costs. It's equipment
and related materials at a heck of a deal.
That's not the best of it, though. the real deal is that the
additional free training will cover framing techniques known only to Ray. Skills
that have won regional, national, and international competitions. He's never
demonstrated these techniques to anyone, not even his son, Scott, who was an
award winning framer in his own right.
Ray's school, West Art, has taught hundreds of students, many of
whom have become successful award-winning framers. (See Testimonial link)
The school will continue to operate as it has for years until
someone jumps on this opportunity. At that time, the school will close forever.
If you're looking at this site now, West Art is still operating.
